Although in 1987 I stopped using certain substances as a solution to cope with life, many of my inner conflicts persisted because I didn't understand the true nature of my malady. I had no knowledge whatsoever, as to why I constantly reached outside myself for a solution, and why these solutions were developed to begin with. I found this reaching was caused by the need to fulfill a self-created, inner sense of lack; a lack I didn't even know existed. In this book I explain what caused this, and why anything has to be reached for in the first place. I also describe a path that has led me to discovering my own inner truth; truth that has led to my freedom from this lack. I’ve learned as human beings we are really in conflict with ourselves, and we don’t understand where these conflicts originate from. I discovered it is our own mind, which has been conditioned to constantly think about our self that makes us look for our answers out there somewhere. This is the root cause of our conflicts. It’s a mind that is leading us around like we’re a puppet on a string. I have found through self investigation a practical gateway to freedom that anyone can learn.
I created this website for It’s Monday Only in Your Mind: You Are Not Your Thoughts, along with a short YouTube video, explaining the core content of my book. There is also a Facebook page link on the website. I implore you to take a serious look at this. What I have come to understand about the way most of us view life is truly mind-boggling. My aspiration for writing this is not that you believe anything that I’ve written, but that through self investigation you find your own truth, so you can cut the strings that hold you in bondage, and allow the necessary energy for you to awaken to your higher self. This bondage is a dilemma we all face.
One day if you ever really want to understand your life and know why there is conflict within, you will need to learn how to let go. Let go of what? Your ego, (the I Self). My book describes a step by step process on how to do this. This is not a magical solution, but one of practicality. If you ever want to be truly free, you will have to realize that you are going to have to let go of the limited world you have devised in your head. Hopefully it will not be when you are on your deathbed. Think about it, learn to let go now while there is still time to really enjoy life, or let go when there is no time left. That is up to you. Well, not really because right now you don’t have that choice. Please take this seriously. Really look within to see what you are holding onto and why. Find out what it is that’s not allowing you to live your life to the fullest, the way it was intended.
